REZ411 began in 2018 as a way for me to stay connected to my culture by working as a vendor at powwows. Over the years, it has grown to include selling directly from my truck and engaging with the community through social media.
The name REZ411 is rooted in my time as a Police Officer in Listuguj. During that period, I created LPD411, a program designed to promote crime prevention and strengthen public relations between the Listuguj Police Department and the community. Through LPD411, I shared information about crime prevention initiatives and services available to community members.
After I left the LPD, the program was not continued right away. While travelling the powwow trail, I noticed how other vendors used creative and meaningful names for their businesses. After a few months of trial and error, REZ411 was born—carrying forward the spirit of community awareness, connection, and identity.
